Our Story
Pittsburgh has often been described as the “Steel City,” the “Iron City,” and most impressively, the “City of Champions,” so it’s no surprise that a city built on blue collar ethics and a strong sense of loyalty produced FortiFX, the world’s first ever half granola bar, half protein bar.
Designed in the gym with the everyday user in mind, FortiFX has perfected its candy bar taste and the macros needed for even the pickiest of fitness enthusiasts. Owner and Founder Sean Perich started 20 years ago with nothing but a baking pan and a tiny mixer, with absolutely zero food chemistry background and what he describes as a “2 Dumb 2 Quit” attitude, Sean perfected his recipes and went on to build Bakery Barn, one of the largest white labeling manufacturing companies for countless great-tasting protein bars; Companies like Robert Irvine’s Fit Crunch, RedCon1 MRE Bars, Weight Watchers, MetRx, 1stPhorm & more.

After selling off the largest white label manufacturing company in the fitness space, Sean emerged with a perfected, proprietary recipe: The World’s First Half Granola, Half Protein Bar that won’t leave you missing the candy bar taste we all know and love, without ever sacrificing the insatiable flavor for added sugar.
FortiFX was born to dissolve your hate for the average protein bar, by making each and every bite “soft” instead of overly chewy, easily palatable instead of having to work around jagged, sugar filled chunks that barely mask the tacky protein taste, or best of all, the way FortiFX pays attention to how you digest all of that fuel for your body, never leaving you “backed up.”

FortiFx bars blow away all the competition from the first bite to the last. Currently we offer four mouth-watering flavors: Peanut Butter, Chocolate Pretzel, Honey Almond, and Dark Chocolate Sea Salt. We are planning to launch new flavors of Strawberry, Peanut Butter Cup, and Smores in the very near future, so stay tuned...
